For Independent Means
A complete financial education program with curriculum for ages 5-8; 9-12; 13-15; 16-18; and young adults 19+, the Great Families curriculum is Independent Means Inc's core curriculum for the education of children in wealthy families.
The Great Families Curriculum is a comprehensive set of over 35 financial education modules designed to be licensed by financial institutions and family offices or delivered by company trainers.  Topics range from saving for five to eight-year-olds to leadership and board participation for adult novices.

I developed and wrote these courses while working as Director of Product Development for Independent Means. Courses include lecture notes, presentations, games, and activities designed to impart essential financial knowledge. My design goal was to both translate the core ideas and vocabulary into an age appropriate language and give participants a sense of why these ideas were important to their lives now. Courses include Credit and Trust, Wealth Transfer (an introduction to estate planning for adult novices),  Prenup Prep, as well as a host of other topics.
